National Service Scheme

The National Service Scheme (NSS) of Stella Mary's College of Engineering encourages students to develop social responsibility, leadership, civic consciousness and a spirit of voluntary service through community engagement, awareness programmes and nation-building activities.

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a youth development programme that encourages students to understand the needs and problems of the community and contribute through voluntary service. At Stella Mary's College of Engineering, NSS activities support the development of social responsibility, civic consciousness, leadership, teamwork and a commitment to community welfare.

Through awareness programmes, service activities, environmental initiatives, health and hygiene campaigns, community engagement and other suitable outreach programmes, students are encouraged to connect their education with social responsibility and nation-building.
