Anti-Ragging & Discipline Committee

Stella Mary's College of Engineering is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful and disciplined campus environment. Ragging in any form is prohibited, and the Anti-Ragging and Discipline Committee works to prevent misconduct, monitor vulnerable locations, examine complaints and support appropriate institutional action.

Preventing Ragging and Maintaining Campus Discipline

The Anti-Ragging and Discipline Committee of Stella Mary's College of Engineering implements preventive and disciplinary measures relating to ragging and misconduct in line with applicable institutional and government provisions. The committee examines complaints involving ragging or disciplinary violations, supports campus vigilance, coordinates anti-ragging squads and recommends appropriate action where required. Ragging in and around the campus is prohibited in order to maintain a healthy, respectful and secure academic environment for students and staff.

Zero Tolerance Ragging, intimidation, harassment and abusive behaviour are prohibited within the campus environment.

Preventing ragging, protecting members of the campus community and maintaining discipline.

Prevent Ragging

Prohibit, prevent and eliminate ragging and indiscipline in every form within the institution and its associated facilities.

Protect Students & Staff

Promote a safe, respectful and dignified environment by addressing misconduct, intimidation, harassment, abusive behaviour and physical or verbal mistreatment.

Monitor Anti-Ragging Squads

Monitor and oversee anti-ragging squads and vigilance activities across identified campus locations and student transit areas.

Recommend Disciplinary Action

Examine complaints and recommend appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with applicable institutional rules and anti-ragging provisions.
