Youth Red Cross

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) is a voluntary humanitarian organization functioning under the Indian Red Cross Society, aimed at promoting health, service, and humanitarian values among students through community-oriented and relief activities.

Objective

  • To promote humanitarian values such as compassion, empathy, and service among students.
  • To create awareness about health, hygiene, first aid, and disease prevention.
  • To encourage voluntary blood donation and organize health-related campaigns.
  • To prepare students for disaster management and emergency response activities.
  • To develop leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility through service programs.
  • To support community welfare initiatives in collaboration with health and relief organizations.
