The Youth Red Cross (YRC) is a voluntary humanitarian organisation functioning under the Indian Red Cross Society and promotes health, service and humanitarian values among young people.

At Stella Mary's College of Engineering, the Youth Red Cross encourages students to develop compassion, empathy, leadership, teamwork and social responsibility through suitable health, humanitarian and community-oriented activities.

The Cell also promotes awareness of health, hygiene, first aid, voluntary blood donation, disease prevention, emergency preparedness and community welfare so that students can become responsible and service-minded members of society.
