The Internal Compliance Cell is established to prevent, prohibit and redress complaints of sexual harassment and to support a safe, secure and dignified environment for women employees and students of Stella Mary's College of Engineering.

The Cell functions as an institutional mechanism for receiving complaints, supporting appropriate inquiry and recommending suitable action. It also plays an important preventive role by promoting gender equality, respect, dignity, awareness of rights and responsible campus conduct.

Provide an institutional point of support for women employees and students who wish to report concerns or complaints.
Receive and process complaints in accordance with applicable institutional procedures and legal requirements.
Maintain appropriate confidentiality and sensitivity while handling complaints and related information.
Support fair, impartial and timely inquiry into complaints placed before the committee.
Recommend suitable institutional action based on findings and applicable rules.
Promote preventive programmes, awareness sessions and sensitisation initiatives across the campus.
Encourage a campus culture based on equality, safety, dignity and mutual respect.
